Your responsibilities will include the commissioning and operation of pilot/industrial demonstrators and eventually commercial-scale plants.

After training in Europe (France and Germany) on our existing industrial pilot units, your main mission will be to support pilots in South America, North America and/or Europe.

Tasks:

Participate in the 3 phases of industrial projects: 

• Preparation: 
  • Based on the customer's specifications, prepare the list of actions to be taken: guarantee that the equipment will be operational, that spare parts and consumables will be available, prepare risk analyses beforehand).
• Execution:
  • Guaranteeing the quality of the liquid/liquid extraction process developed by Adionics
  • Follow the operations programme: operational part and sampling plan
  • Ensure that objectives, deadlines and quality are met on a daily basis
  • Handle and monitor operational incidents
  • Monitor the application of safety procedures
  • Monitor the process performance of key equipment and adapt the process to production contingencies
  • Take part in maintenance actions (curative and preventive), find solutions in the event of major breakdowns and ensure the availability of equipment.
• Closing :
  • Ensures activity reporting (dashboards) to your line manager (evaluation of resources, breakdowns, rejects, etc.).
  • Report productivity indicators (volumes produced, materials consumed, waste rates, malfunctions, etc.).
  • Capitalising on feedback and developing best practice in terms of commissioning, operation and maintenance with a view to its application by future operators of the ADIONICS process.
• Managing a team
  • Leading and coordinating the production teams (3 to 4 people/shift) in order to maintain continuous high operational performance,
  • Raise staff awareness of quality, industrial safety and environmental issues and ensure that the relevant rules are applied.

Profile required

PROFILE :

• Required qualifications:
  • 4 or 5 years' higher education (general engineering schools - chemical engineering/process engineering or industrial plant engineering).
• Length of experience :
  • At least 5 years' experience in the field of services to the mining, chemical, energy or environmental industries.
  • Experience in process start-up would be highly appreciated

REQUIRED SKILLS :

• Technical skills :
  • Multi-disciplinary technical knowledge, particularly in instrumentation, valves, mechanics and processes,
  • Have a good understanding of the liquid/liquid extraction process after in-house training
  • Ability to pass on information to other teams
  • Knowledge and application of quality, environmental, prevention and safety rules and standards
  • Knowledge of English and Spanish in order to establish contacts with foreign customers/suppliers and to use technical manuals.
